This exclusive resort was originally constructed in the 17th century as a one of the Medici villas, and is now renowned as a therapeutic retreat into nature. Fonteverde offers 63 rooms with 11 junior suites and 4 master suites, newly refurbished in 2020. The ornaments of Tuscan palaces and the two-tone bands characteristic of churches in Florence and Siena have inspired our new rooms determining the choice of black and white accents for elegant interiors and refined living. Beyond the gourmet experiences, craft shops, medieval towns, and antique markets, Fonteverde is best known for its thermal spas, with waters rich in fluorine, magnesium, and sulfur, as well as for its own wellness philosophy named Equilibrium, for diet, body, and soul. The property also boasts a private chapel that was originally built in the 11th century and serves as an ideal destination for weddings and events. For those looking to balance their stay with business, Fonteverde offers state-of-the-art meeting room facilities.
