Well-being on a new level
Away from the stress of everyday life, the hustle and bustle, and the noise... Instead, feel the comforting warmth, listen to the rippling pool, and enjoy quiet moments focused on your inner center: This is exactly what the Artemacur Spa at the 4*-superior Hotel Klosterhof – Alpine Hideaway & Spa is all about. A place of power for rest and regeneration in the beautiful Berchtesgaden Alpine foothills, it not only impresses with its unique concept, but also – after a loving "glow-up" – with even more privacy, a timeless ambiance, and new art objects. Feel-good comfort on a whole new level...
Furniture with a connection to nature
This is ensured, among other things, by new cabanas directly by the spa's indoor pool, which impress with their modern design and create a cozy atmosphere of tranquility thanks to warm materials and subtle lighting elements. The combination of high-quality, comfortable upholstered furniture and natural wood elements invites you to relax and unwind. The cabanas, where guests enjoy even more privacy thanks to additional curtains, were crafted from local larch wood that was felled in the Bavarian Alps, hand-picked, and dried on-site. Sustainability is a top priority in all areas of the hotel. "There are no shorter routes or more sustainable processes," emphasizes hotel owner Dr. Andreas Färber.
The masterpiece of craftsmanship in the Artemacur Spa was realized by a regional partner whose expertise the Klosterhof had already relied on during construction in 2016: the master workshops of Philipp Haas + Söhne from Bad Reichenhall. "Long-term and ambitious plans can only be realized with outstanding partners," says Färber.
Wellness for the Eyes
The same applies to the decorative design of the spa – after all, wellness for the eyes is a must. From the ceiling above the indoor pool floats the latest work by artist Wolfgang Gerner – an imposing wave-like form made of jute, painted with acrylic paints, symbolizing the metaphorical "rainbow path" through all phases of life. As the stepfather of Klosterhof host Andreas Färber, Gerner's art is an integral part of the hotel, from the art steles in the rooms to the hotel logo, a Celtic sun symbol that expressively reflects the hotel's philosophy: Live with enthusiasm!
In the newly designed relaxation room in the sauna area, spa lovers can also recharge their batteries or relax on new, comfortable loungers, enjoying the view of the Berchtesgaden Alps through the spacious panoramic windows.
A spa experience where the deep connection to nature is tangible and visible everywhere...!
