For the first time in more than 10 years, the Leading Spa Award 2020 will be presented to Germany, Italy and Austria at the same time. Since all three finalists received more than 3,500 votes and come from different countries, three winners will be chosen this year for the first time.
The guests and visitors of the Leading Spa Resorts were able to vote for their very personal wellness highlight for the tenth time and after an exciting voting, the decision has now been made:
Austria – Hotel Winzer Wellness and cuddling **** in Upper Austria
Germany - Angerhof Sport and Wellness Hotel ****S in Sankt Englmar / Bavarian Forest
Italy – Alpine Panorama Hotel Hubertus ****S in Valdaora / South Tyrol
The Hotel Winzer Wellness & Cuddling, which brings the coveted award to Austria, has received the popular award for the second time and can thus successfully defend its title from last year. The adult hotel convinces with a fabulous spa area, which extends over several floors over approx. 5000 m² indoor and outdoor wellness area. Spread over 3 spa areas, with a total of 25 different saunas, steam baths, relaxation and cuddling oases, and 9 pools.
The Angerhof Sport- und Wellnesshotel brings the award to Germany and thus receives the popular award for the first time! The sports and wellness hotel is a family-run adventure hotel and offers a wellness area of more than 6,500 m² with five different bathing possibilities as well as a sauna world with numerous heat sources to withdraw and relax.
The Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus can look forward to receiving the award for top-class wellness for the second time. Because the award was given to Italy in 2017. Recharge your batteries and let your soul dangle. You can do that in the spacious wellness area with a total of 7 saunas and 6 indoor and outdoor pools. The 25 meter long sky pool is unique in the wellness world and probably the most beautiful pool in the Dolomites.
